Boarding School & Higher Education

A Life-Changing Opportunity
We are currently able to offer Boarding School in Uganda and Kenya. There are numerous benefits to Boarding School including a safe environment, three meals a day and smaller class sizes. The majority of students who attend Boarding School will go on to higher education such as: college, university or trade school.

Unlike some of the stereotypes associated with Boarding School here in the United States, students in Africa view Boarding School as a privilege. Attending Boarding School is much too costly for the average villager to consider when their primary focus is finding enough food to eat.

Please note that Boarding School is an additional cost beyond the monthly child sponsorship cost of $31. Monthly sponsorship covers your child’s basic necessities, regular school tuition, supplies and healthcare. Boarding School provides 24-hour-care of children, three guaranteed meals each day, sleeping accommodations and full-time supervision in a family-like environment. In addition, the high cost of the first term of boarding school is used to purchase general supplies for your child, such as a locker, toiletries, books and other school supplies.

Higher Education Without Limitation
Graduating from a university, college or trade school seems like an impossible dream for many of the children and young adults in our sponsorship program. Many of these students will be the first in their communities to complete their education. This gives them the opportunity not only to give back, but also set an example of what is possible when you dare to dream. By supporting these young people, you are giving them a way out of poverty with the possibility of a bright future. When compassion and purpose meet, lives are changed forever for both the giver and receiver.
