Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and married Pat in 1962. While in New Orleans she was the office manager for Higgins Marine Inc. the manufactured PT Boats in the 2nd World War.
Current Affiliations
She joined the Board of Hope4Kids in 2002 with Pat and has been an active fundraiser for Hope4Kids. She has been the manager of the Northwest office of Hopwe4Kids for the past six years. She has been on 9 Hope4Kids Missions.
Past Affiliations
They moved to Spokane in 1964 and she served on the Board of Directors of the Spokane County Bar Auxiliary for five years before she became Chairman for two years.
Volunteer for eight years as a guardian ad litem for the Spokane County Juvenile Court System
Founding president of Spokane Interplayers Ensemble a resident professional theater & Chairman for five years while it grew into profitability
Founding member of Spokane Hoopfest Association and served on its Board for thirteen years and retired as chairman of the Board. This program brings 150,000 people to Spokane every June for the world’s largest 3 on 3-basketball tournament.
Personal
While she was raising her four children, she enjoyed golf, skiing, tennis, and scuba diving. She now spends as much time as possible with her nine grandchildren and four grown kids.
