Goats for our Sponsored Children in Africa
H4KI has given out hundreds of goats to our sponsored children and their families in Africa. Goats give a much needed income boost by providing offspring that can be bread, sold or ultimately traded in quantity for a cow, which is very valuable. Our goat program offers each child and the child’s family, a savings account that has the possibility to grow. Give the Gift of Fresh Safe Water
Almost one billion people around the world do not have access to safe drinking water. Mainly women and children spend hours each day walking miles to collect water from contaminated open ponds, livestock water points and polluted ditches. Dysentery is responsible for up to 75% of deaths in remote villages. W4KI provides hope to these communities by drilling deep water wells in areas that are suffering from the lack of safe water. Karamojong Children
Many of God’s most precious children around the world are left to fend for themselves by living on the street like they do in Tororo, Uganda. Before Hope 4 Kids, these children survived by eating food found in trash bins. Now, these children receive breakfast and a highly nutritious meal at lunch. We also provide these 420 children with basic healthcare at our onsite medical clinic. Many Lives can be saved from preventable and treatable diseases with access to medicine.
In developing countries around the world, it is rare to find a medical clinic open and stocked with life-saving medicine. H4KI has built a 66-bed hospital and eleven village clinics in an effort to respond to this critical need. A child can be saved by a 10 cent vaccination while others can seek life-saving treatment for Malaria - the #1 killer in East Africa.
