For 2009, Hope 4 Kids International is focusing on completing our
existing projects before we begin some new ones. It's important to us
and to the communities we serve for them to be self-sufficient.
Everyday, we are developing new ways with our various ministries to
fulfill this purpose. Until then, we will focus on these needs to help
our programs become stronger and more effective.

Village Clinic Medicine
Right
now, we are in desperate need of funding medicine for our nine village
medical clinics. Sibanga & Mumutumba are funded monthly, but our
other clinics need medicine. As Americans, sometimes we concentrate on
the initial buildings but lose sight that there is a certain amount of
upkeep after they are finished. For basic medical outreaches, we need
(7) sponsors to donate $575/month. A two-day medical outreach serves
between 300-400 people. Read More Give Now

True Vine Mixed-Day & Boarding School
Our
boarding primary school provides the highest education available and
sets its standards with schools in Kampala. Kids in our sponsorship
program that attend our mixed-day & boarding school receive an
education with affluent children in the area that help erase the stigma
of being an “orphan”.
Although we have seven classrooms, we are
in critical need of adding in four more classrooms. Double classrooms
are constructed with partitions between them. The budget for a double
classroom is $15,130

True Vine Medical Centre III (Hospital)
Our hospital (Medical Centre III) in Uganda serves 1,000 patients a month from common life-threatening disease like Malaria, Measles and Dysentery. Because of our hospital, "Children who once surrendered to death and disease have now become hopeful citizens of the world." Besides serving people in and around the Tororo area, our hospital staff travels into our remote villages to conduct medical outreaches. It also provides free health care to our orphans registered in our Sponsorship program. Our primary goal is for the hospital to become self-sufficient, but we are a long ways away. Our farming project and outpatient fees subsidize some monthly hospital costs, but until we can help them be self-sufficient, we are looking for monthly sponsors while we are developing income-generating activities. The cost to run the hospital is $3,000/month.

Outreach Medical Centre
We are in the last phase of construction for our medical clinic that will provide the primary source of medical care for our Karamojong children. This large two-room medical clinic will provide basic healthcare and medicine in response to East Africa's deadliest diseases: Malaria, Measles and Dysentery. The final cost to finish this clinic is $3,000. Give Now

Karamojong Classrooms
Because our Karamojong kids are from a despised tribe, these children are not allowed to attend school in the normal school system of Uganda. However, we are determined to bring school to them. These kids learn under a pavilion from teachers we transport in everyday. Now, we have four classrooms to outfit. Each classroom to outfit is $2,000. Give Now

Smile Africa Van
Pastor Ruth desperately needs a vehicle for her travel to and from Kampala. Oftentimes, H4KI needs her to take trips to visit the Prime Minister's office for project approval. She can be so much more effective is she had the liberty to travel when needed. Also, she can use this van to transport sick kids to larger hospitals for life-saving emergencies. Give Now
