Sam Crump joined the H4KI Board in the Fall of 2007. He is the founder of Sunrise House orphanage in Fort Portal, Uganda, which opened in 2004 through his Rotary Club. The H4KI has taken Sunrise House under its wing with the continued support of the Rotary Club of Anthem and several churches and individuals. Sam travelled on a mission with H4KI in February 2008 and the group toured both Sunrise House and the True Vine project in Tororo.
Sam presently serves in the Arizona House of Representatives. He is also a founding partner of Boates & Crump, a general law practice located in Anthem. He began his legal career as an Army JAG prosecutor in Germany. He has worked for municipal and education law firms and served as legislative counsel to the California Judges Association.
Sam lives in Anthem, Arizona with his wife, Colleen, and their four children. The Crump Family attends St. Rose Catholic Church in Anthem. Sam earned his undergraduate degree in Government from the University of San Francisco in 1986; he earned his law degree from Santa Clara University in 1989; and he earned his Masters in Public Administration from USF in 2002.
