Helping Uganda's Children Live and Learn in a Safe, Caring Environment
Sunrise House is in western Uganda in the town of Ft. Portal. It consists of a main house on two acres, with several other buildings under development. In early 2004, approximately 50 students became the first residents. The property is overseen by a Director and the children attend school nearby.
Hope 4 Kids International has recently partnered with the Sunrise House in an effort to help these kids obtain an education and become more self-sufficient. These kids are now available for sponsorship through our Hope 4 Kids sponsorship program.
Sunrise House is home to these children, providing a safe and clean place to live. There are many children on waiting list, and we have dreams of expansion. We are also developing an income-producing farm project with a goal of sustainability.
