We have seen God do amazing things through our water projects in Nepal. In many villages, women and girls have to walk long distances downhill to find water, and then back uphill carrying a heavy load. In addition to not having enough water for drinking, cooking, and bathing, families aren’t able to water their livestock or grow crops.


Water changes lives and restores hope to entire villages. When a village has a safe supply of water year round, families are able to grow food and farm for income. Crop fields transform from dusty, empty space to lush, green fields full of vegetables. Families can take their extra crops to town to sell, creating an income.

With the changes water security brings, families can afford school fees for their children and fathers do not have to go overseas to work as day laborers, but can remain with their families. Water brings complete transformation to the village, and often, the local church grows when the people in the village witness how God has done miracles in their lives through water.
