Why Your Help Matters

These children are the future of their communities, and by improving their living conditions, we are investing in their future. A comfortable, clean, and well-maintained environment is essential for their physical, emotional, and academic development. Your support can make a tangible difference in their lives.

Their Story

As with all the boarding cottage matrons, Renate continues to care for the children out of a great love and understanding for their needs. As Renate told us, one of the most important things she’s learned in her 14 years of working  as a matron in the ELCRN boarding cottages,  matrons and their staff need to be both mothers and fathers for the children, as some have been orphaned. What Renate loves most about the 137 children boarding there is their ability to express themselves through writing and art
